Time of Reflection

As the year comes to an end, take some time to reflect on the things that occurred in 2014.  Was this year full of blessings or did it seem to be cursed?  Were you overwhelmed with happiness or grief?

For me, this year was full of challenges, pain, and triumph.  Early in the year, my hope began to weary. I spoke to a friend about my challenges. He told me something that have given me hope all year long. He said, “You have to be believe things will get better “.

This belief echoed in my mind as I faced challenges after challenges. Things will get better. But when? My concern wasn’t when will things get better. I just knew that things had to change for the better. This new mantra gave me hope – something to look forward to each day.

When you are tempted to feel down, find a mantra to uplift you and hold on to it. Let the mantra give you hope. Hope is so powerful. It can keep you from falling into despair, which can lead to depression.

If 2014 didn’t seem to be your year, then declare that 2015 will be your year. Believe it and see it come to pass.

I declare 2015 will be my year. It will be a year full of blessings and joy. What will 2015 be for you?

Paint the picture in your mind and remember if you are faced with challenges, you have to believe things will get better.@divasintransition (2)
