What are the health benefits of Kickboxing ?

Have you tried kickboxing yet? It is a combination of martial art, boxing, and aerobics. How crazy is that?  Kickboxing is a high-intensity cardio workout that works your entire body: arms, shoulders, abs, thighs, and butt. It will leave you exhausted and grasping for air.

This high-intensity workout has many benefits:

It is a great way to burn calories. One 30 minutes class burns 300 calories. If you don’t believe me, try taking a kickboxing class and see how many calories you burn.

It is a great cardio workout. Kickboxing sessions tend to be relatively short, but the intensity of the workout will quickly get your heart racing.

It is a great way to burn fat. If you are having a hard time losing fat around your mid- section, try kickboxing. It is known as a fat blaster.

It is a great stress reliever. Kicking and punching involved in kickboxing are great for taking out your frustration and anger. If you are having a bad day, take a kickboxing class and see how fast your stress melts away. You might even forget why you were anger or frustrated in the first place.

If you are still unsure about taking a kickboxing class, try kickboxing in the privacy of your home.

I love kickboxing! It’s such a great stress reliever that I sometimes forget what was bothering me by the time the workout is over.

I have been a fan since Tae Bo came on the scene in the mid 1990’s. In fact, I did one of his workouts 2 weeks ago that I did off of YouTube. #wowlinkup

The first time I did Tae Bo was in high school. It is definitely a workout that will leave you sweating and out of breathe.
